Texas' 13th District

The redistricting process based on the 2010 United States Census has finally yielded an interim Congressional map for the state of Texas.  According to the map, the 13th Congressional District of Texas will span 42 counties across the Panhandle, West Texas, and the North Texas region, adding citizens in ArcherCooke, and Deaf Smith counties and much of Floyd and Wise counties beginning with the 113th Congress which will be elected in November 2012 and seated the following January.

Primary election day is Tuesday, May 29.  Early voting will open Monday, May 14 and be open through Friday, May 25.
